Ages 5-8: Readers and Leaders

A comprehensive 6-month literacy and leadership program for children aged 5 to 8. This curriculum correlates weekly reading and critical thinking exercises with the M.E.R.C.I.L.E.S.S. framework, basketball development, and confidence series themes. Each month focuses on a specific pillar—from building foundations to becoming a complete player—while every week follows a structured format (Read, Think, Respond, and Connect) to enhance comprehension, vocabulary, and character application both on and off the court. Each month includes a video children can watch that connects to the month’s theme and encourages continued comprehension, critical thinking, and vocabulary development.
