Ages 9-12: Readers and Leaders

A comprehensive 6-month literacy and leadership program for children aged 9 to 12. This curriculum builds on foundational reading skills with more complex texts, deeper critical thinking, and expanded vocabulary, all connected to the M.E.R.C.I.L.E.S.S. framework, basketball development, and confidence series themes. Each month focuses on a core leadership and character pillar—from mastering fundamentals to competing at the next level—while every week follows a structured format (Read, Think, Respond, and Connect) to develop analytical comprehension, advanced vocabulary, and real-world character application on and off the court.
